Rules for County League Team Selection 2011-2012
Season
Teams
playing in Somerset’s County League represent a Somerset Bridge Club.
The
EBU have tightened up the rules of eligibility for players representing
a Club in their NICKO and Garden Cities competitions and the SCBA committee
have decided that Somerset should clarify what constitutes a club member
when representing a Club in our County League.
For
the 2011-12 season we are asking Club Secretaries (or other Club
representative) to enter teams, with a team Captains name and an entry
fee of £15 per team and confirmation that all players representing
their Club are bona fide members of the Club who have paid an annual
subscription fee and who play at the Club on at least a few occasions
during a season.
It
would help with League organisation if Club Secretaries could let Bob
Warrender know as soon as possible which teams will be entered for
2011-12 season.

your Club did not enter a team in 2010-11 but are considering doing so
for 2011-12, please contact Bob Warrender
