Somerset Contract Bridge Association (SCBA) is the contact point for all matters relating to the game of Contract bridge in the County of Somerset. We are affiliated to the English Bridge Union (EBU) and our aim is to promote Duplicate Contract Bridge in the County of Somerset, and in the areas of North Somerset and North East Somerset, and to encourage interclub, inter-county and national competitions.

We seek to employ the funds of the SCBA in the best interests of the game of Duplicate Contract Bridge, having regard to the fact that the SCBA is a non-profit making body.

The committee, who are all non-paid volunteers, organise the various County Duplicate Bridge events of which the Premier event is the West of England Congress normally held in October. This friendly, well organised event has grown over the years and many of the Green Pointed events are quickly over-subscribed. (So book early!)

The SCBA has a full programme of events throughout the year and each year one or more Bridge events are organised and promoted by the SCBA in support of a nominated charity.
